Raipur. Finance Minister OP Choudhary met Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Raman Singh. Regarding the meeting, Raman Singh said that a meaningful and positive discussion took place on the upcoming budget session of the Legislative Assembly and various issues related to the economy and public interest.

The Assembly’s budget session is expected to begin on February 23 and continue until March 27. Speaker Dr. Raman Singh has discussed the preparations for the session with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The Chief Minister met Speaker Dr. Raman Singh at the Speaker’s residence on Thursday morning. He spent about an hour there. The two discussed the preparations for the budget session of the Legislative Assembly.

According to sources, the budget session is expected to run from February 23 to March 27. The budget is expected to be presented in the Assembly on February 27. The session will begin with the Governor’s address, followed by a discussion on the motion of thanks. Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma is currently out of the state, and a notification regarding the session may be issued after his return tomorrow.
