Punjab: Masked men opened fire at a grocery store

Punjab: Two unidentified masked men opened fire at a grocery store in Mari Mustafa village of Moga district on Friday evening. According to police, the attackers targeted shop owner Seepa Singh, who was under security cover following threats from an American youth from the same village. Singh narrowly escaped, but the police officer deployed as his security guard was injured. Villagers said Singh’s family had strained relations with the family of the American youth who allegedly made the threats. Police have detained the youth’s father for questioning.
