Ragging at Kandanulu Medical College.. Four students suspended

The incident of four senior students ragging junior medical students in the hostel of the Government Medical College in Nagarkurnool came to light late on Saturday.

The victims complained to the anti-ragging squad after seniors ragged juniors to throw chairs on the wall. The officials who took up the investigation suspended Deepak Sharma, Hemant Chaudhary, Kishan Beniwal and Alok Gani for a year. They were not allowed to write exams, said Assistant Professor Hostel Deputy Warden Arundhati. This is the second incident since the college started, and the victim of ragging in the past is one of the four students who committed the ragging.
