CPM Leader Urges Cadres to Address Public Issues

CPM State Committee Member Mudireddy Sudhakar Reddy has called on the party ranks to fight until the public problems are resolved with the inspiration of the ideal public leader and former MLA of Nakirekal, Narra Raghav Reddy. On Thursday, the 11th death anniversary of the immortal Narra Raghav Reddy was organized at Doddi Komarayya Bhavan in Nalgonda. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed concern that the central government has failed to implement the promises made to the people during the elections and has imposed enormous burdens on the people. He said that today’s rulers are engaging in personal attacks instead of discussing public problems in the legislative assemblies. In Kerala, Telangana State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has criticized the criticism made against the Chief Minister of that state and the Left government for the sake of rhyme. He said that the Congress government has failed miserably in implementing the promises made to the people of Telangana state.

He said that the credit for developing Kerala into a poverty-free state goes to the Left government. He said that the people of Kerala will not tolerate criticism of two communists, Bade Bhai, Chota Bhai Modi and Revanth Reddy. He lamented that the central and state governments are wasting time without solving public problems. He questioned the state government as to when it will provide ration cards, all types of pensions, houses and plots. He said that along with the new ration cards, they should also provide essential commodities along with the fine rice that is being given immediately. He asked the government to immediately start the purchase of paddy during the Yasangi season. He said that Narra Raghava Reddy was prominent in the struggle for fluoride liberation and the struggle for the SLBC tunnel. He said that the discussions taking place in the legislative assemblies were not like those days. When former Chief Minister, late NT Rama Rao took some special decisions, Raghav Reddy asked him to immediately withdraw those decisions fearlessly. He said that the SLBC tunnel would be delayed if it was built with the desire to make Nalgonda district fluoride-free, so he took Narla Tatarao along and suggested that it be completed through a lift. Accordingly, he said that today’s SLBC is a lift scheme. He praised him for standing firm for the dream he believed in despite of struggles and problems throughout his life.

CPM state committee member Nari Ilayya said that a high school has been built in every big village in the Nakirekal constituency and that there is no problem of drinking water or health problems. He reminded the leadership of those who, when people fall ill with health problems, take them with them and get them treated. He said that Narra Raghav Reddy was a great man who considered public problems as his own problem and solved their problems immediately. He said that medicines are being given to patients with diabetes, BP, fits and paralysis in the name of Amarjeevi Narra Raghav Reddy. He called on the people to use these services. CPM district leaders Paladugu Nagarjuna, Syed Hasham, Chinnapaka Lakshminarayana, Paladugu Prabhavathi, MD Salim, Narsi Reddy, P. Varalakshmi, Dandempalli Sathaiah, Banala Paripurchani, Tummala Padma, Avuta Ravinder, Gade Narasimha, Bollu Ravinder, Kande Yadagiri, Pushpalatha, and Kathula Yadiah participated in this program.
