A party is being held in preparation for the DMK Women’s Front conference.
Tamil Nadu: Preparations are underway for a feast for the volunteers participating in the DMK Delta Zone Women’s Conference.
The DMK Delta Zone Women’s Conference, titled ‘Vellam Tamil Magalir’ (Victorious Tamil Women), will be held on Monday (January 26) at Chengippatti near Thanjavur.
DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister and Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin, Women’s Wing Secretary and DMK Deputy General Secretary Kanimozhi MP, and others will be participating in the conference.
A total of 1.25 lakh people, 10 from each of the 12,500 booths across Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Cuddalore, Ariyalur, Perambalur, and Pudukkottai districts, will participate in the conference wearing uniforms. A total of approximately 1.50 lakh people are expected to attend.
About 200 acres of land have been chosen in the Chengippatti area for the conference, and preparations, including the construction of a large stage, auditorium, seating arrangements, and lighting, are in full swing.
Two kitchens have been set up to feed the volunteers attending the conference, and mutton biryani, chicken 65, and eggs are being prepared.
