UK steel sector seeks clarity on process for removal of US tariffs

On Thursday, Britain praised the agreement, which sees US tariffs reduced from 25% to 0% to allow British manufacturers to export their products to the US market.

However, details released on Friday made clear the two sides have yet to formally approve safeguard requirements and a quota system, leaving uncertainty over when the tariffs will be lifted.
