Xiaomi will not sell EVs overseas before 2027

Business Business: China’s Xiaomi will not sell its electric vehicles (EVs) abroad before 2027. Xiaomi CEO, Xiaomi said this in a livestream on Wednesday. He said that the company will have to focus on the domestic market for now, as there are strong orders for SU7 and YU7 cars.

Xiaomi had already mentioned 2027 as a possible year for shipment of its EVs abroad. Xiaomi’s SU7 electric sedan has outperformed Tesla’s Model 3 on a month-on-month basis since December.
