1 crore 25 lakh fraudsters arrested, a woman also included
Kondagaon. A case of cheating a retired government employee of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh has come to light. Police have arrested 4 accused in this case. A woman is also included in these. All the accused are said to be residents of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. During interrogation, it was revealed that all these accused had been duping people for 9 years by luring them with prizes and lottery money.
This is the first case of Kondagaon district, in which a retired government employee, Gend Singh, used to make fake documents of RBI and banks from Netam and send them to Reliance Company in the name of insurance and in the greed of getting more money, an amount of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh was taken from the applicant. Deposited money in their accounts and did not let the applicant realize that he was continuously being a victim of fraud. After 9 years, when the applicant felt that something was wrong with him, then he told the whole matter to the police at the police station Makri, then the police told him that he has been a victim of fraud for the last 9 years.
When the police told applicant Gend Singh Netam that you have been a victim of fraud for 9 years and you have deposited crores of rupees in the accounts of these accused. As soon as the entire matter came to the notice of district SP Akshay Kumar, taking the matter seriously, a police investigation team was formed. It was not so easy even for the police to solve the case. A joint team was formed under the leadership of cyber cell in-charge Satish Bhargava and started collecting all the evidence. Information was taken from banks. The location of the accused who committed fraud was traced through cyber cell, due to which they were found to be Delhi, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
