Mohana: At least one died and 14 people have been injured, two of them critically, after a pick-up van overturned in a major road accident. The accident occurred at Chiting Ghat near Chandragiri under Mohana police station limits in Gajapati district on Wednesday.

The injured have been rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur. According to information, 15 people were going in a pick-up van to attend a funeral.

At this time the ill-fated incident occurred. All the injured were rushed for medical treatment. One of them died after reaching the hospital. Two others are critical while the others are undergoing treatment.

Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
