Jalandhar: Man booked for fraud

Jalandhar: A case has been registered against a man for allegedly cheating a woman and committing criminal breach of trust. According to the police, the complainant, Harjeet Kaur, wife of Lakhvir Singh and a resident of Bhullar, approached the authorities and accused a man named Amandeep Singh of defrauding her, causing her financial and personal loss.
The complaint was initially submitted along with an inquiry report. After examining the report and preliminary findings, the police registered a case against the accused. Officials said further investigation is underway. They are expected to record statements from more witnesses and examine evidence to determine the extent of wrongful gain and loss.
