11 kg silver found in Alto car, preparations were made to spend it illegally
Raigarh. 11 kg silver jewelery has been recovered from the Alto car. Police station in-charge Kotwali Inspector Shanip Ratre received information from the informer that a person from Odisha was bringing silver jewelery to Raigarh in an Alto car to spend it illegally without valid bills.
On receiving the information, the police station in-charge immediately sent the accompanying staff of head constable Jagdish Nayak from the police station to take action against the suspicious Alto car.
During night patrolling by the Kotwali police team, a suspicious Odisha passing Alto car OR 17 J 9876 was stopped and checked near the Old Shani Mandir Over Bridge, in which a huge quantity of new silver jewelery – silver bangles, rings, anklets, bracelets, vermilion was found. Boxes were kept.
When the Kotwali police team interrogated the person present in the vehicle, he revealed that he was a resident of Jugal Pradhan, Bargarh, Orissa, due to which notice was given to produce the documents of the new silver jewelery kept in the vehicle.
