11 month old child dies in tragic road accident on mother’s birthday
Mumbai: In a shocking incident, an 11-month-old baby lost his life after a road accident in Bhayandar on Monday evening. The accident took place in Rai village on Uttan Road in Bhayandar.
How did the accident happen?
The deceased has been identified as Daksh Shah (11 months), who was heading towards Gorai beach on a two-wheeler to celebrate his mother’s birthday with his family, including his father Kunal, mother Jigna and elder sister. Daksh was sitting on the lap of his mother, who was riding pillion on the bike, which slipped possibly due to the dirty water filling the pit.
Accidental death report filed
The rider lost balance, causing Daksh to fall away and suffer serious head injuries, resulting in his instant death. While an accidental death report (ADR) has been filed at the local police station, gloom prevails in the Babuda Residency area, where the family was living for the last few years.
