Bangkok: At least 14 people were killed and 20 others were injured after a bus collided with a tree in Thailand. The accident occurred at about 12.30 am on Tuesday in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Xinhua news agency quoted the statement as saying.
Earlier, local media had reported 14 deaths and 35 injuries in the Thailand bus accident, but the bus operator later revised it to 14 deaths and 20 injuries. The bus was heading from the capital Bangkok to Nthawi district of Songkhla province.
“The injured were taken to local hospitals,” the statement said. The statement said police are investigating the cause of the accident.
