2 killed, 3 injured in horrific road accident

Chennai: Two people were killed and three others were injured when a car collided with a truck in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as S., a resident of Kollam, Kerala. Sandeep (26) and M. Aman (25).

Injured J. Riyaz (27), A. Mithujilal (25), and P. Krishnan Sandh (22) are also from Kerala.

According to the police, the five people were going from Kerala to Bengaluru via Krishnagiri.

When the vehicle reached Coimbatore, it suddenly lost control and collided with a truck.

The injured have been admitted to Krishnagiri Government Hospital for further treatment.

Kurubarapalli police of Krishnagiri district have registered a case and investigation is underway. (IANS).
