2 killed in a hit and run case in Bengaluru

Bengaluru (IANS). Two people riding a bike died on the spot after they were hit by a truck near Anekal town on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Friday. Police gave this information.

Police have launched a search for the truck driver, who fled after the accident on Hosur Road near Attibele.

One of the deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Manjappa, while the identity of the other deceased is yet to be ascertained.

The truck hit the bike from behind.

The truck driver did not stop the vehicle and fled from the spot.

Attibele police reached the spot and have started further investigation.
