2 laborers riding a bike died after being hit by a speeding tractor

Paonta Sahib. A painful accident has occurred in Paonta Sahib sub-division of Sirmaur district, where two laborers riding a bike have died after being hit by a speeding tractor. The deceased have been identified as 42 year old Vishnu Pratap Singh, son of Om Prakash, resident of village Kureli Dr. Dhirana, Tehsil Gosai, District Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh and 28 year old Ritesh Kharwar, son of Om Prakash, resident of village Dr. Jotana Jahani, Tehsil Jakhiniya, District Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

The police have registered a case against the accused tractor driver under sections 279, 304A IPC and 187 MV Act and started searching for him. According to the information, two laborers were returning home on a bike late in the evening after working in a private company in Nariwala. During this time, a speeding tractor coming from Paonta Sahib hit both the laborers. After the incident, the accused tractor driver fled from the spot. Both the laborers injured in the accident were taken to Paonta Sahib Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. Paonta Sahib DSP Manvendra Singh Thakur has confirmed the news.
