2 lakh youths in Bihar got government jobs.

Patna. The Bihar government has made a significant claim regarding employment and government jobs. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary stated that approximately two lakh youths have been given government jobs in the state over the past eight to nine months, while employment opportunities have been provided to 6.5 lakh people. He emphasized that the government’s goal is not merely to make appointments but to create new employment avenues for the youth.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary was addressing an appointment letter distribution ceremony held at the Bapu Sabhagar in Patna on Thursday. At the event, he handed over appointment letters to selected candidates and shared details regarding the government’s employment policy.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that a target has been set to provide jobs and employment to one crore youths in Bihar between 2025 and 2030. He affirmed that the state government would achieve this goal at any cost and that recruitment processes across various departments are being expedited to this end.

Samrat Choudhary noted that providing employment to the youth is among the government’s top priorities. He mentioned that efforts are underway to boost employment opportunities not only in government jobs but also in the private sector, industries, self-employment, and other fields.

He stated that the government has rapidly advanced recruitment processes across various departments in recent months, inducting a large number of youths into government service. Additionally, opportunities are being created through job fairs, skill development programs, and industrial activities.

Congratulating the candidates who received appointment letters, the Deputy Chief Minister remarked that their responsibilities would increase upon entering government service. He urged all newly appointed employees to serve the public with complete honesty and dedication.

He observed that there is no lack of talent among the youth of Bihar; the need is simply to provide them with the right opportunities and a better platform. The government is continuously working in this direction so that the state’s youth do not have to depend on other states for employment.

The Deputy Chief Minister added that the state government has launched several schemes centered on development and employment. Investments are being increased in sectors such as education, health, industry, and infrastructure, which will generate new employment opportunities in the future. During the event, the Chief Minister stated that the process of filling vacant posts in government departments would continue uninterrupted. He emphasized that the recruitment process is being conducted transparently to ensure that deserving candidates get opportunities.

Samrat Chaudhary stated that the government aims to transform Bihar into a state that generates employment. He mentioned that a detailed plan covering the next five years has been formulated to provide jobs and employment opportunities to the youth.

He acknowledged that while the target of providing employment to ten million (one crore) youths is ambitious, the government is working towards it with full commitment. To achieve this, a strategy is being adopted that combines government job creation with the promotion of private investment and the encouragement of industries.

A large number of candidates and officials attended the appointment letter distribution ceremony. The event was marked by enthusiasm among the youth. Upon receiving their appointment letters, the candidates appreciated this initiative by the government.

The state government maintains that the continuous measures being taken in the employment sector are creating a better environment for the youth in Bihar. The government is working on plans to further accelerate the pace of job creation in the coming years.

The Chief Minister’s statement has sparked a fresh discussion in the state regarding employment and government recruitment. All eyes will now be on how the government achieves the target of creating ten million jobs between 2025 and 2030.
