2 miscreants arrested for assault in Kalinga University

Raipur. A few days ago, a video of some persons abusing and assaulting a person in front of Kalinga University located in village Kotni under Thana Mandir Hasaud area had gone viral. Taking the viral video of the assault seriously, senior officials directed the station in-charge Mandir Hasaud to take necessary action. On which the team of Police Station Mandir Hasaud, under the leadership of Station Incharge Mandir Hasaud, identified the persons seen in the video involved in the case, Sachin Singh, father Nagendra Singh, age 19 years, resident of Saddu Assembly Raipur and Ashish Singh, father Amarpal Singh Rajput, age 19 years. On the report of the applicant, after searching the address of resident of Saddu Assembly Raipur, crime number 579/23 section 147, 294, 506, 323 IPC was registered against him in Police Station Mandir Hasaud. Apart from registering the crime, action was also taken against both of them under separate restrictive sections.

While the team members were continuously locating other persons involved in the case, the accused in the case was Aditya Gupta, father Kailash Gupta, age 19 years, resident of ward no. Along with taking action against 14 Shreeji Colony, Abhanpur police station, Abhanpur Raipur and Manas Ragra, father Baliram Ragra, age 19 years, resident of Ganaud police station, Rakhi Raipur, action has also been taken against him under separate restrictive sections. Other persons involved in the case are being traced.

In a private university of Raipur, students beat up a student over a fresher’s party. First there was a dispute in the WhatsApp group, then the boys got together and fought.
