2 miscreants roaming with knives arrested in Raipur
Raipur. Under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte, Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Lal Patle and the supervision of City Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dewangan, a campaign is being run against knife-wielders and thieves to effectively curb crimes. Under this, due to the work of Purani Basti police station, success was achieved in arresting knife-wielders possessing knives illegally.
The details are as follows: Information was received from the informer that two persons were illegally possessing sharp knives at two different places near Bhata village over bridge and in front of the maiden garden near Lakhe Nagar. On the information of the informer, immediately someone serious was arrested at both the places. Anticipating that a crime may not take place, they formed two teams and set out. As per the information given by the informer, both the persons were caught and searched. Illegally sharpened knives were found in the possession of the accused. Crime number 147/2024 Section 25 Arms was found against both the accused respectively. Act accused Shubham Yadav alias Shaurya father Manoj Yadav age 22 years resident of Sonkar Para police station near Santoshi Mandir Purani Basti district Raipur Chhattisgarh and crime number 148/2024 section 25 Arms Act accused Ajay Mishra father Sunil Mishra age 22 years resident of Power House Bairagi Mohalla police station Cantonment District Durg Chhattisgarh was registered, arrested and sent to judicial custody!
