2 people from Odisha died in road accident
Bhubaneswar: At least two people from Odisha died when the SUV they were traveling in with five others collided with a vehicle in West Bengal on Sunday. Sources said that the deceased and the injured, who are said to be residents of Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district, were going to Raniganj in West Bengal for some work. However, his vehicle collided with a truck near Narayangarh on National Highway 16. Sources said two people died on the spot, while five others in the vehicle were seriously injured and admitted to Medinapur District Headquarters Hospital.
Meanwhile, the local police have started investigating the case and have sent the bodies for postmortem.
