2 people lost their lives in front of ‘Jawaan’ actress, horrifying scene seen in Thailand, whole incident narrated on Instagram
Actress Alia Qureshi was also successful in registering her presence among many veteran actors in superstar Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’. Alia played the role of a character named ‘Jhalli’, which was loved by the fans. Meanwhile, Alia is in the news for a different reason than the film. Actually, Alia had recently gone to Thailand, where she saw a horrifying scene which horrified her.
There, a 14-year-old boy opened fire in a shopping mall, killing two people. During this time Alia was also there. Alia has revealed this in her Instagram post. While sharing a glimpse of the trip, Alia wrote in the caption, “This is hard to write but I don’t want my Instagram to be a place where I only talk about shiny happy things, no matter how terrible it is, here This will also come. As some of you have asked, I was in Thailand during the shooting of ‘Siam Paragon’. When this incident happened, I and two of my friends were in the mall.
We were coming up the escalator when we saw a massive stampede and someone shouted, ‘Shooter.’ As we ran back down we heard three gunshots. It was a horrible experience. I’m grateful that my friends and I came out alive. And I feel very bad that two innocent people could not survive. I wish real life was like action movies, where you can fearlessly jump into any brutal fight and save everyone but when that happens, the only thought in your mind is to get out of there alive.
Alia further wrote in the post, “When the day started, we were relaxing. We were playing with the dog and when the day came to an end, we were running amidst the firing in a mall. We were drenched in the rain, desperately trying to find a tuk tuk to take us home. Life really is crazy and unpredictable. Don’t know what will happen when. I really don’t know how to explain my mixed feelings about the incident.
But I kept wondering, what would have happened if the 10 minutes before going up that escalator were not spent on currency exchange? The currency exchange took longer than expected. What if we had never had any problems? Where would we have been when the firing was taking place? In the store or near the store? I don’t know, but it all makes me think that there was some divine power, or good timing, or something, that saved us.”
