2 smugglers arrested with ganja in Tikrapara Raipur
Raipur. Two interstate accused from Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have been arrested with ganja. Tikrapara police received information that near Kanker Roadways Mathpuraina under Tikrapara police station area, two persons were carrying ganja in a maroon colored bag with fashion written on it and were planning to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Shri Jai Prakash Badhai, City Superintendent of Police Purani Basti Yogesh Sahu, and Police Station Incharge Tikrapara Inspector Durgesh Raote were directed to verify the information and catch the accused red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, Tikrapara police station went to the said place and identified and arrested the persons of the description described by the informer. During interrogation, the persons gave their names: 01. Rishabh Sharma, father Manoj Sharma, age 28 years, Sakin Mohalla Chaklan police station, Kankhal district, Haridwar (Uttarakhand), 02. Aditya Singh, father Kaham Singh, age 19 years, Sakin Sufipur Angad police station and tehsil Nagina district, Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh). Explain the existence of ). When the team members searched the bag kept with him, he was found to be carrying ganja. On which the team members arrested the accused and seized 20.400 kg of ganja worth approximately Rs 2,14,000/- from their possession. Action has been taken against the accused under Crime Number 200/24 Section 20C NDPS Act in Police Station Tikrapara. .
