20 people including 2 women arrested with 975 litres of ID liquor, 22 litres of Foreign Liquor in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police reportedly arrested 20 people including 2 women after seizing 975 litres of Illicitly distilled (ID) liquor and 22 litres of Foreign Liquor (FL) from different locations of Bhubaneswar City last night.
According to reports, an extensive excise enforcement, on the instructions of the Commissioner of Police Sanjeeb Panda, was conducted across 24 locations under the jurisdiction of 18 police stations limits of Bhubaneswar Urban Police District (UPD).
Under the guidance of DCP Prateek Singh, police conducted strategic an extensive excise raid under the “Safe City Drive” and seized 975 liters of ID liquor and 22 liters of FL. They also destructed 500 liters of Mahua wash and arrested 20 individuals, including two women.
