20 year old rapist sentenced to life imprisonment

Bijapur. A youth from Bijapur district kept raping an 11 year old minor for 2 years. When the minor became pregnant, the family members came to know about the matter, after which an FIR was lodged against the young man in the police station, the matter reached the court. Now the court has sentenced the 20 year old accused youth to life imprisonment. Justice Shailesh Sharma of FTC Court of Dantewada has pronounced the sentence.

Actually, this matter is of Awapalli police station area of Bijapur district. Praveen Champa, a young man from the same area, had to visit a family in the same village. The young man started raping an 11 year old minor daughter of this family. He did this disgusting act with her for two consecutive years, after which the minor became pregnant.

When the family asked his daughter about this, she told everything about this act of the young man. After this, the family members of the minor reached Awapalli police station and lodged an FIR in this case. Police investigated the matter. Then the accused youth was caught and brought in the court. The matter reached Dantewada court. About 11 people testified here in the FTC court. After which Judge Shailesh Sharma sentenced the accused youth to life imprisonment. That means now the accused will remain behind the bars till his death.
