2025 Toyota Camry with improved tech and features launched in India, Gets a price tag of Rs 48 lakh
2025 Toyota Camry or the 9th generation of Toyota Camry has been launched in India and it carries a price tag of Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest version of the sedan had already made its debut in the international market a year ago. The latest version of the premium sedan by Toyota has arrived India through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. The 2025 Camry will be assembled in Karnataka.
The ninth-generation of the Toyota Camry is based on TNGA-K platform. The design of the Toyota Camry is quite attractive and it features a sharp nose along with slim LED headlights. The DRLs are in the shape of Boomerang. A narrow grille is the connecting link between the headlights. We get bold body lines on the sides of the car along with 18-inch alloy wheels. There are refreshed C-shaped LED tail-lamps.
The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in multiple attractive colours and that includes Precious Metal, Dark Blue, Cement Grey, Emotional Red, Attitude Black and Platinum White Pearl colour options.
When it comes to the interior of the sedan, we get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with another 12.3-inch touchscreen for infotainment. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay along with Android Auto. There are nine-speaker JBL sound system, a 10-inch head-up display and digital key functionality. The front seats get 10-way powered front seats along with three-zone auto climate control and sunroof.
When it comes to safety, Toyota offers Safety Sense 3.0 suite which is otherwise known as autonomous driving assistance system (ADAS) as a standard feature. Other safety features include pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, radar-based cruise control, lane-tracing assist, road-sign assist and much more.
Engine that is offered on the new Camry is a 2.5-litre petrol engine and it is paired with Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5). The total output is 230hp and this is 12hp more than the older model. The full efficiency of Toyota Camry is 25.49 kmpl (ARAI rated). The transmission is automatic (eCVT gearbox).
