25 workers injured in Janjgir, major accident due to overturning of small pickup

Janjgir-Champa: A vehicle carrying workers overturned between Charpara and Thadga Bahra village of the district. 25 workers were injured in the accident. Out of which 4 have been referred to Bilaspur SIMS Hospital due to their critical condition. Other injured have been discharged after treatment. The incident is from Baloda police station area.

According to the information, there were 30 to 35 people in the Chota Hathi vehicle. Which includes men, women, young men, girls. All were going to work as laborers in Bharat Mala project road construction. Meanwhile, due to high speed, the vehicle lost control.

The vehicle overturned on the road after hitting the divider on the side of the road. After the accident, it was brought to CHC hospital with the help of villagers. 25 people were injured in the accident. Out of which 4 were referred to Bilaspur. The injured are named as Riya (20), Radhika (22), Savitri (45) and Santoshi (60). The rest of the injured were admitted to District Hospital Janjgir and BDM Hospital Champa. All were discharged from the hospital after first aid.
