Mumbai: An argument over a pet dog barking escalates into a violent attack in Antop Hill.

Maharashtra: On the night of January 8th, a minor argument over a barking pet dog turned into a horrific nightmare for a family in Raj Heights Tower in Antop Hill. What began as an argument quickly escalated into a brutal attack with sticks and knives, injuring several people, including a 15-year-old boy.
Police file case against six people
Antop Hill police have filed an FIR against six identified individuals – Nitin Dikka, Tushar, Savita, Aman, Kavita, and Sharanjeet – along with several others under the Indian Penal Code (BNS) Act and the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
According to the FIR, the complainant, Naresh Udaybhan Bidlan, 47, a sanitation worker with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), returned home to Raj Heights Tower in Punjabi Camp, Antop Hill, with his wife Vandana and nephew Aryan Kagdra, 15, at around 10:30 p.m. after walking their pet dog.
While waiting for the elevator below the building’s ‘A’ wing, the dog allegedly barked at their neighbor, Laxmi Dikka’s children, who were exiting the elevator, leading to an altercation.
The altercation escalates
Bidlan alleged that he was verbally abused following the incident. While efforts were being made to calm the situation, 25-year-old Nitin Dikka arrived and allegedly attacked Bidlan with a wooden stick, punched, and kicked him, causing serious head injuries.
The FIR further details a premeditated attack in which another woman, Sanjana, allegedly hit Bidlan on the head with a bamboo stick. While Aman and Tushar were allegedly beating teenager Aryan, an unknown man in the crowd stabbed the boy in the back and arm.
