Raipur: A few days ago, a video of some persons threatening a person with a knife and abusing and beating him under the Pandari Over Bridge under the Police Station Civil Lines area had gone viral. Taking the viral video of the assault seriously, senior officials directed the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit in-charge and the Civil Line in-charge of the police station to trace the persons seen in the video and take necessary action. On which the joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and Police Station Civil Lines, while interrogating the victim in relation to the incident, identified the accused as Fida Hussain Ali and Shafiq Ali along with history-sheeter Dilkash Ali of Police Station Civil Lines and reported the applicant. But a case has been filed against the accused in Civil Lines police station under sections 294, 323, 342, 506, 34 of Indian Penal Code. And offenses under 25, 27 Arms Act were registered.
Under the direction of senior officers, while locating the accused involved in the case, accused Dilkash Ali, Fida Hussain Ali and Shafiq Ali were arrested, the knife used in the incident was seized from their possession and the accused were sent to jail. The accused Dilkash Ali is a history-sheeter of Civil Lines police station, who has been detained in jail in many cases in the past.
