3 days left for ration card renewal work

Raipur. The work of renewal of all 77 lakh ration cards currently prevalent under the public distribution system in Chhattisgarh is going on from January 25. As of February 21, 64 lakh 22 thousand 571 ration card holders have applied for renewal. People are taking full advantage of the online facility provided by the Food Department for renewal of ration cards and are filling applications for renewal of ration cards through the Food Department’s app from their mobile. Let us tell you that the work of ration card renewal will be done till 25th February.

According to the information received from the department, a new mobile app of the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has been prepared by the Food Department for ration card renewal. The app can be downloaded from http://khadya.cg.nic.in. Director Jitendra Shukla told that ration will be given to everyone who has a card. Even if for some reason there is a problem in renewing the ration card, ration will be given. Instructions have been given to renew the ration card in the name of the person in whose name he has died, along with adding or subtracting names, in the name of other family members. Besides, instructions have also been given to make new ration cards.
