He is currently working as a government teacher in Talakondapalli mandal of Rangareddy district. Hathiram is not married yet. Balaji Nayak came to know about the extramarital affair that has been going on between them for the past few years and reprimanded him. He even warned him by holding a panchayat in the presence of elders. Both of them did not change their behavior. On the 2nd of this month, the husband could not bear to see them both alone in the bathroom at home. Deeply upset, Balaji Nayak took a selfie video with his son Charan and expressed his grief. He said that he could not live in it. In a fit of rage, he attempted suicide by hanging himself at home on the 3rd of this month. His son immediately informed the neighbors, and Balaji was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad. His condition deteriorated and he died on the 7th of this month while undergoing treatment. The body was taken to the Devarakonda Government Hospital for postmortem on the same day. The police registered a case based on the complaint filed by Balaji’s brother Sagar Nayak.
The culprits should be punished severely.
Balaji’s family members and relatives along with their children staged a dharna in front of the Marriguda police station on Tuesday, demanding strict punishment for Hathiram, a government teacher who caused trouble in the green world, and Rajitha, who committed such a crime despite being reprimanded by her husband. They demanded justice for the children who were lost and did not know the future. They alleged that the police were trying to protect the government teacher. They were angry that justice was not being done to them and that the body was not even being handed over.
The police are acting unilaterally.
Family members and relatives alleged that the police were trying to protect the accused who caused Balaji Nayak’s death. They shouted slogans like “SI down, down”. They said that the dead body has not been handed over even though it has been two days since his death. They expressed their grief that justice could not be done. They expressed deep grief that they did not understand what kind of cases were filed against the accused and what assurance would be given to the children’s future. They blocked the SI’s vehicle and got into a heated argument, saying that they would not move from here until justice was done. They said that they would stay near the police station until justice was done.
