3 smugglers arrested while selling ganja on the move on Railway Station Road
Raipur raipur news. Three smugglers have been arrested while selling ganja while moving around on Railway Station Road. Police received information from an informer that three persons have kept ganja in a white colour Activa number CG 04 ND 3066 in Gudhiyari Raipur, near Railway Station Road Kali Mandir, in which one person is wearing a white colour shirt and sky blue pants, who has brought ganja from Orissa in two black and blue coloured bags, two other persons, one of whom is wearing a yellow colour T-shirt and sky blue pants, the other person is thin and wearing a printed full shirt and muddy coloured pants, are buying and selling ganja, on the information, under the direction of senior officers, the Police Station Incharge Gudhiyari was directed to verify the information and take action, and on going to the place mentioned in the information of the informer, raid action was carried out, as per the description given by the informer, three persons were found near a white colour Activa on the roadside near Railway Station Kali Mandir, who on being asked their names told their names as Pradeep Dwivedi, father Chandrabadan Dwivedi, age 32 years, village Kasrupada, Police Station Kesingha Bhawani. He told that he was a resident of Patna, Odisha. He had kept the ganja wrapped in tape inside the bag for illegal sale and he had made a deal for selling the ganja with two other persons standing with him. chhattisgarh news
The two persons standing with them were questioned, who told their names as Uddhav Tandi and told that he had made a deal with Pradeep Dwivedi to sell two packets of ganja wrapped in tape in a blue bag with him. On asking the name of the other person, he told that he was Shubham Sharma of Azad Chowk Raipur, who had made a deal with Pradeep Dwivedi to sell one packet of ganja wrapped in tape in the trunk of his Activa. 12 kg 383 grams of ganja worth Rs. 2,45000/- and one motor cycle Activa worth Rs. 40,000/-, total Rs. 2,85000/- were seized from the possession of the accused and a case under crime number 626/24 section 20(b) NDPS Act was registered against the accused in Gudhiyari police station.
