30 associate professors were temporarily transferred for TRP duty.

Tamil Nadu: 30 associate professors from government colleges, including those in Chennai, have been temporarily transferred to the Teachers Selection Board (TSB) for short-term assignments, effective April 1st. The Directorate of College Education issued an order for this.
In the order, E. Sundaravalli, Commissioner of the Directorate of College Education, stated that the respective college principals should immediately relieve the transferred associate professors from their college duties. The details are as follows: The Teachers Selection Board is responsible for conducting various teacher examinations, including those for assistant professors, declaring exam results, certificate verification, and conducting orientation exams. The Teachers Selection Board has sought the recruitment of over 30 senior associate professors in related subjects.
Accordingly, the Commissioner of Directorate of College Education, Chennai, State College, Chennai, Quaid-e-Azam Millat Government College for Women, Queen Mary College, Bharathi College for Women, etc. has ordered the temporary transfer of Associate Professors in the departments of Physics, Electronics and Information Technology, Geography, Physics, Zoology, Physics, Visual Communication, etc. for a period of at least 35 working days.
This includes Associate Professors in the Electronics and Information Technology Departments of Government Colleges in Trichy, Kulithalai, Ponneri, and Tiruvarur.
