4 accused of cheating in the name of paying electricity bill arrested
Gurgaon. Police have arrested four accused while taking action in a case of cheating a woman in the name of cutting electricity connection. Sector-14 police station, acting on the complaint of the woman, has arrested these four accused. The accused were identified as Pankaj, Mangilal, Ajay and Sombir.
According to police spokesperson Subhash Bokan, both Pankaj and Mangilal, accused by the police team, are residents of Munsari Hanuman Garh, Rajasthan.
The accused Sombir is a resident of village Garhi, district Hisar and Ajay is a resident of village Niyana, district Hisar. During police interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the amount cheated from the victim was transferred to the bank account of accused Pankaj, which he sold to accused Mungilal for Rs 4000. Accused Sombir used to work at a petrol pump, he got that money swiped at the petrol pump, deducting his commission at 1.5 percent and gave the remaining cash to accused Ajay.
