4 habitual criminals of Raipur expelled from district
Raipur: To maintain peace and order in the district and to curb criminals, Collector and District Magistrate Raipur Gaurav Singh, on the recommendation of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh, expelled the habitual criminals of the district Bhupendra Sahu alias Vakil father Bhagwat Sahu age 23 years Banjari Badi Ganganagar Bhanpuri Police Station Khamtarai District Raipur, Satyam alias Naati Verma father Mangal Singh Verma age 23 years resident of village Charoda Police Station Dharsiwa District Raipur, Jamun Ali father Sharafat Ali age 30 years resident of house number 13 Block number 14 BSP Colony Irani Dera Daldal Seoni Police Station Pandari District Raipur, Pappu alias Hiralal Janghel father Panchu age 33 years resident Lodhi Para Police Station Gudhiyari District Raipur for three months. The police has sent a report to the Collector’s Office for action against dozens of other habitual criminals for expulsion from the district, which is in process.
The Collector has ordered as per the order dated 05/08/2024 passed in criminal cases under 5B of Chhattisgarh State Security Act 1990 that within 24 hours, the person should leave the area of District Raipur and the adjoining revenue districts Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Durg, Baloda Bazar for a period of three months and as long as this order remains in force, he should not enter the boundary of this district and the mentioned districts without taking prior legal permission. All of them have been ordered to immediately comply with this order and legal action should be taken against them in case of non-compliance. Challans and proceedings have been done against these miscreants in various police stations for many crimes. A total of 15 crimes and preventive actions have been taken against Pappu alias Hiralal since the year 2000 for continuous assault, stabbing, hooliganism, robbery, dacoity, threat to kill, extortion and Arms Act etc. The non-applicant Jamun Ali is continuously involved in serious crimes like attempt to murder, assault, hooliganism, threat to kill, NDPS Act, extortion, Arms Act and terrorizing the common people and creating fear among them since 2012. 10 crimes have been registered against him yesterday. The non-applicant Satyam alias Naati Verma is continuously involved in serious crimes like assault, hooliganism, illegal liquor and gambling, robbery, threat to kill, extortion and terrorizing the common people and creating fear among them since 2019. 07 crimes and preventive actions have been taken against him yesterday.
The non-applicant Bhupendra Sahu alias Vakil is continuously involved in serious crimes like assault, theft, burglary, Arms Act, hooliganism, threat to kill, Excise Act and terrorizing the common people and creating fear among them since 2020. A total of 10 criminal and preventive actions have been taken against him.
