40 Students Fall Ill After Consuming Contaminated Food at Bellampalli School

Food poisoning has occurred at Bellampalli Government SC Girls’ Gurukul School in Mancherial district. Students who ate contaminated food last night fell seriously ill. 40 students who fell ill were taken to the local government hospital. Former BRS MLA Durgam Chinnaiah visited the students undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, shocking details are coming to light regarding the food poisoning incident. It is noteworthy that the hostel warden went to the hostel at 10 pm after receiving a call at 7:30 pm that the students had fallen ill. It is reported that the hostel warden told the students to eat the rice without throwing it away even though they were told that there were worms in it. The hostel warden got the students treated by an RMP doctor, fearing that if the food poisoning came out, it would be a disgrace.
Despite the students’ pleas to call 108, the hostel staff ignored them and just sat there, watching indifferently. The students expressed their grief that they had to endure three hours of hell until the hostel warden arrived.
