5 injured due to LPG cylinder explosion, panic in the area
New Delhi: Five people got burnt due to a cylinder explosion in a house in Dwarka area of Delhi. An official provided this information on Wednesday. The injured have been identified as Radhey Shyam, Ram Bharose, Chandra, Satya Narayan and Anil, residents of Palam Vihar, Dwarka.
According to the police, Dwarka South Police Station received information about the damage to the building at around 10 pm on Tuesday night, after which the police team left for the spot. On arrival it was found that a cylinder had exploded, injuring five people.
A senior police officer said, “The house was damaged and household items were also burnt. “Three of them suffered serious burn injuries and are undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.” The incident site was inspected by forensic experts. The officer said that a case is being registered under sections 285 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code at Dwarka South Police Station.
