50 books written by students of Kannagi Nagar Government School: Released by former Chief Secretary

Tamil Nadu: Former Chief Secretary of the Government, V. Irayanpu, released 50 books written by students of Kannagi Nagar Government School in Chennai.

Right Movement has made several efforts to enhance the creativity of students in Kannagi Nagar, Chennai, which has a large population of economically disadvantaged people. To this end, school students there were provided with excellent writing and reading training on holidays, including Saturdays and Sundays.

New Century Publishing House published 50 books written by students from Kannagi Nagar Government School who received this training. The book release ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Anna Centenary Library Hall in Kotturpuram, Chennai. Right Movement Coordinator V. Killivalavan welcomed the gathering. The 50 books written by the students were then released by V. Irayanpu, former Chief Secretary of the Government of Tamil Nadu and mentor of the Right Movement. Respect in society…: Speaking at the ceremony, V. Iraiyanbu said: “It’s a great achievement that 50 books written by students studying in government schools in an economically backward area have been published simultaneously. Writing isn’t just a skill. It’s a responsibility. If writers behave appropriately, society will give them the respect they deserve.”

The students writing books in Kannagi Nagar have improved in many skills. We have achieved the goal for which this initiative was started in Kannagi Nagar.

Change has happened…: Writing should bring about change not only in society but also in the writers. Such a change has now occurred. Previously, 108 books by school students across Tamil Nadu were published. But now, 50 books written by students from Kannagi Nagar Government School in Chennai alone have been published. Wherever they are, if they are given the right guidance, encouragement, and training, they can succeed. Knowledge is common to all. It is not a traditional property. But that knowledge must be brought out. It must be guided. He said that writing improves observation and leadership qualities.

The event was attended by Santhanam, Managing Director of New Century Publishing House, Anandishwari, Headmistress of Kannagi Nagar Government Higher Secondary School, Marisamy, Founder of First Generation Foundation, Joseph Raja and Balachandran, Coordinators of Youth Power Organization, and Dr. Balamurugan, Coordinator of Right Movement.

Which books…: Students of Kannagi Nagar Government School wrote books on various topics such as Wings of Dreams, Flaps of the Mind, My Stories, What is Feminism, The Doors of the Hostel, I Thought You Came, Three-Wheeled Princess, My Letters, and Swimming Against the Wall.
