50 patients of diarrhea were found in the village
Jagdalpur. These days the number of diarrhea patients is increasing in Jagdalpur. More than 50 diarrhea patients have been found in Sosanpal of Tokapal block of the district. In view of the increasing cases of diarrhoea, Bastar collector also inspected the village today. Along with this, the patients and the health camp have been reviewed. 8 patients of diarrhea are admitted in Dimrapal Hospital. 2 patients are admitted in MPM Hospital. While other patients are coming to the health camp adjacent to the village panchayat building for treatment. After giving primary treatment to the villagers, they have been sent back home. Some patients are being treated in the health camp Sosanpal itself.
Bastar Collector Vijay Dayaram first reached the health camp run at the Panchayat Bhawan after getting information about the increasing number of diarrhea patients in the district. Interacted with admitted patients and health workers. Proper guidance was given. Then later the collector reached inside the village and interacted with the patients and their relatives. The Collector toured the village on foot and interacted with the villagers at different places. The Collector gave several guidelines to the Health Department regarding the prevention of this disease. The CMHO of the Health Department was asked to work for creating awareness regarding the health system.
