6-year-old writes to CM Saini over broken swings in Sirsa park

A six-year-old boy has appealed to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to repair broken swings and provide play equipment at a local park in Sirsa. He said children are at risk of injury and the park’s poor condition has forced him to stop visiting.
Rajvardhan, a Class 1 student and resident of Aggarwal Colony, filed a complaint through the state’s complaint system, known as the CM Window. In his message, he wrote that the traffic park in the Mini Secretariat Complex was the only place near his home where children could play safely.
However, he wrote that the swings, slides, and other equipment in the park were badly damaged. Some were in such poor condition that they posed a risk of injury to children. He stated that many children had stopped visiting the park due to safety concerns.
The boy also said that because of this, children were spending most of their time indoors, watching television or using mobile phones, which was detrimental to their health. Rajvardhan appealed to the CM and district officials to remove old and broken equipment and install new swings, slides and other play facilities so that children can play in a safe environment.
