66 thousand looted from farmer, complaint filed
Bilaspur. In Chakarbhatha area, a case of robbery has come to light from a farmer who was returning home after withdrawing money from the bank. On his complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused youth. 15 thousand 500 have been seized from the possession of the youth. The young man told that he fell while running after looting the remaining amount. The youth has been produced in the court. Badri Prasad Suryavanshi (73), a resident of Amsena in Chakarbhatha area, has complained of robbery. He told that he had come to the bank on Monday morning. Here he got 66 thousand rupees withdrawn from the bank. Taking the money, they were going towards Chatauna turn for an auto. Meanwhile a young man came there.
He snatched the money and passbook from the farmer. The youth fled after the robbery. The farmer complained about the incident to the Chakarbhata police station. On this the police registered a crime and started searching for the robber. During interrogation, it was revealed that Anil Nayak alias Kabadi (30), a resident of Nayapara, had carried out the robbery. The police interrogated the youth by taking him into custody. At first he was giving evasive answers. On being strict in the police station, he told to execute the incident. Seized 15 thousand 500 rupees of loot from his possession. The remaining rupees were told to fall while running away. The accused has been arrested and presented in the court.
