7 cattle died due to gaz falling, all were standing under Mahua tree
Korba: The district has been witnessing intermittent rain and lightning havoc for the last three consecutive days. Due to which the lives of common people are being greatly affected. A large number of cattle have died due to the heavenly havoc. The death of cattle has created panic among the cattle owners.
According to the information, more than half a dozen cattle have died due to lightning in Sonpuri village located on Sarvamangala Road, Kanki. On Wednesday morning around 6:00 am, the cattle were around the village where suddenly it started raining heavily, after which all the cattle went under the Mahua tree near the village. During this period, more than half a dozen cattle died due to sudden lightning. Some cattle survived the incident. When the villagers who had gone to work in the fields noticed the dead cattle, they went to the village to inform about it. After which a crowd of cattle owners and villagers gathered at the spot. The dead cattle included three cows, two calves and one bull.
