7 year old girl becomes victim of brutality, shot dead after gangrape
Khagaria (Bihar): On one hand, Children’s Day is being celebrated across the country today to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, while on the other hand, an incident that puts humanity to shame has come to light from Bihar. In Khagaria district, a seven-year-old innocent girl was shot dead after allegedly being gang-raped. The incident took place on Tuesday morning in Navtolia village of Pasraha police station area. There is huge tension in the village and the villagers have demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. A day earlier too, an eight-year-old student was raped and strangulated to death in Begusarai district.
According to the police, the girl was in the field near her house when two people forcibly took her away and allegedly gang-raped her and then shot her to death (The naked body of an innocent girl was found in the field on Tuesday morning. Murder of the girl As soon as the news spread in the village, tension spread. The angry villagers created a ruckus. During this, someone informed the police.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot with heavy force and somehow pacified the villagers who were creating ruckus. Then the girl’s body was sent for post-mortem. In this regard, the SHO said that the family members have not filed any complaint yet. Quoting the family members, he said that they will file an FIR after the last rites of the body. After the family members lodge an FIR, the police will start investigation, after which the culprits will be arrested. No one has been arrested yet.
