77th anniversary of Independence celebrated in Korba in an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm
Korba: Commerce and Labor Minister Lakhan Dewangan hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade at the main function held at the football ground CSEB Korba (East) of Korba, the district headquarters today. Cultural programs were performed by students in the function. Employees who did excellent work in government service were also awarded in the function. Chief guest Minister Dewangan read out the message sent by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to the people of the state. It was celebrated with joy
On this occasion, the national anthem was presented. The security forces fired in joy and an attractive march past was presented by the District Police Force, Security Force, Scout Guide Senior Junior Divisions. Parade report was presented by the parade commanders. The chief guest inspected the parade. During this, Collector Ajit Vasant and Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddharth Tiwari were present with him. He released balloons in the sky, symbolizing unity in diversity. After this, students of various schools presented cultural programs based on attractive and captivating patriotic songs. The audience welcomed them with thunderous applause and enjoyed the programs. In the ceremony, the families of the soldiers who were martyred while performing their duties were honored.
Prize distribution by the chief guest- In the ceremony, the teams which performed excellently in the parade and cultural program were honored by giving shields and certificates by the hands of the chief guest Shri Devangan.
