8 Naxals, including 4 women surrender in Chhattisgarh

Naryanapur: In a major development, as many as eight Naxals, including four women have surrendered in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday.

Narayanpur SP Robinson Gudiya told ANI, “Today, a total of 8 Naxals, 4 women and 4 men, surrendered… They were mainly involved in supplying arms and ammunition… In our last operation, we recovered their dump of weapons.”

Further, “The Naxals have information about the Chhattisgarh Naxal Surrender/Victim Relief and Rehabilitation Policy-2025. A lot of them want to leave this and join the mainstream…”

“It is a good opportunity for them to quit this and join the mainstream…,” the SP Robinson Gudiya added.
