8 stolen motorcycles recovered, 2 thieves arrested

Greater Noida: Bisrakh police station of Greater Noida has exposed the gang of vehicle thieves. Police have arrested two thieves during this period. Eight stolen motorcycles have been recovered from their possession. Two members of this gang are still absconding, for whom the police is searching. In fact, Bisrakh police was checking the capsule cut. During this, the police stopped two people riding two bikes for checking. When his motorcycle was thoroughly examined, it was found that the motorcycle was stolen. Both the people were taken to the police station and they were strictly interrogated. During this they told that he was a thief. After which, on his tip, the police recovered 6 stolen motorcycles from the bushes near Gaur City Forest.

Police arrested Ankit and Ankush. These people told during interrogation that they along with their associates used to commit incidents of motorcycle theft. The motorcycle was stolen from Surajpur, Bisrakh and Indirapuram police station area of Ghaziabad. His two more accomplices Ashish and Yash used to steal motorcycles from Noida, Ghaziabad and NCR areas by forming a gang.

Giving information about the case, Bisrakh police station in-charge Anil Rajput said that these people used to form a gang and steal master keys from motorcycles parked in Ghaziabad, Noida and surrounding districts, around the mall and in the parking lot of the mall. After this, they would hide them in a vacant place and whenever they got a chance, they would sell the stolen motorcycles at throwaway prices. More motorcycles have also been stolen and sold by other absconding members of the gang. Those people are also being searched. About a dozen theft cases are registered against the arrested thieves.
