8 thieves were targeting Jio towers, all arrested with scarpies

Kondagaon: The Kondagaon police has arrested the inter-state gang of thieves stealing Geotower batteries from several districts. Police has seized property worth about Rs 58 lakh 57 thousand from the miscreants. Along with this, many stolen batteries and vehicles have also been seized. 8 accused have been arrested in the case.

Let us tell you that, while taking major action against the vicious thieves, the police seized 32 nos. Jio Tower batteries and 2 Scorpios vehicles. Along with this, property worth Rs 58 lakh 57 thousand has also been seized from 8 accused and arrested. In which 7 accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh and 1 accused is resident of Kondagaon. According to the information, the accused had committed the theft incident from Jio towers of Kondagaon, Balod, Gunderdehi, Ranchirai, Balod, Bhanpuri, Bastar in Chhattisgarh. Sherkhan, Akshay Khatik, Manoj Kumar, Mehboob Ali, Mohd. Sahjan, Afzal, Nimee Singh all residents of Meerut Uttar Pradesh and Dinesh Dewangan alias Gaddu Kondagaon were arrested by the police.
