Mahmood Junior passes away at the age of 67
Veteran actor Mehmood Jr. has been a part of many films. In his extensive career, he has managed to make cinemagoers laugh out loud with his effortless comedy and acting skills. But sadly, the 67-year-old artist passed away after a long battle with stage four stomach cancer.
We are heartbroken to announce that famous actor Mehmood Jr., known for his work in films like Caravan, Judaai, Dadagiri, Haathi Mere Saathi and Mera Naam Joker, is no more. According to a report in ETimes, the actor died at his residence in Mumbai while he was undergoing treatment for stage four stomach cancer.
Confirming this news, the veteran actor’s close friend Salam Qazi said that his health has deteriorated after which he has been put on life support. But sadly he could not do so, said a teary-eyed Qazi.
In a previous report by Times of India, Qazi had told that the actor-director’s cancer was detected only a month ago. But it was in the fourth stage and his lungs and other parts were badly affected. He had said, “The doctors have told us that he has only 40 days, but we are all praying for him.”
