Prabhakar Rao not aware of CM’s meeting

Hyderabad: Amid reports of TSGENCO and TETRANSCO Chairman and Director General D Prabhakar Rao not attending the review meeting called by Minister Principal A Revanth Reddy on Friday, Rao clarified that he had no knowledge about the holding of the meeting . Minister Pradhan had on Thursday ordered the Energy Department Secretary not to accept Prabhakar Rao’s resignation and ensure his presence in the review meeting. Responding to reports of his skipping the review meeting, Prabhakar Rao said he was not informed about the review meeting and had no intention of skipping it.

“Naadi called me for a meeting. Why should I attend the review meeting called by the CM? If I had attended the meeting I would have been asked”, he said.
After Prabhakar Rao’s clarification, now officials are surprised as to why the Energy Secretary did not inform them about the review meeting despite the Prime Minister’s request.
