Dead body of young man found in the field, police engaged in investigation
Ambikapur. The body of a youth was recovered from a field on Saturday morning in Mendrakala, just 10 kilometers away from the city on Bilaspur road. His body was found soaked in blood and injury marks were also found at many places. It was told that he had left Ratanpur by passenger bus to go to his home in Garhwa area, but he got down half way. What was the reason for his landing there late at night and the condition in which he died is a matter of investigation. Police reached the spot on information. Forensic experts also reached the spot. The police have said that they will reach any conclusion in the entire matter only after the post-mortem report.
According to the information, Ramesh Singh, father of Chandrika Singh, resident of Ranka village Bhawari of Garhwa area, aged 28 years, had gone to Ratanpur for work about four days ago. From there he was returning to his home yesterday via passenger bus. Some passengers got down from the bus near Mendrakala at around 1 o’clock in the night. During this, Ramesh also jumped and got under the bus. Since the bus driver Surendra was from the same village. He informed this to his family members in the village. Ramesh’s body was recovered from Mendrakala farm this morning. Injuries were found at some place on his body. On receiving the information, his family members and the police reached the spot. The police is investigating the circumstances under which the person died. At present the whole matter appears suspicious.
