Two arrested for murder of daily wage earner in Mancherial

Mancherial: Two people were arrested on Tuesday for the murder of a person in Kesalapur village of Bheemini mandal on December 1.

Bellampalli ACP P Sadaiah said the accused Mutyam Purushottam Goud and Induri Rajasekhar were arrested and produced before a tribunal. They made efforts to nab other accused allegedly involved in the murder of Keslapur journalist Body Jalandar (37) and attacked them at a deserted place on Friday night.

Sadaiah further said that apart from a murder case, SC and ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has also been registered against the accused. Investigation was going on. Official researchers were collecting tests. Jalandhar, who had moved to Hyderabad in search of life a few years ago, was in Keslapur to cast his vote.
